On March 16, 2019, an open, integrated lecture on the topic “Hemodynamics. Physical Foundations of Cardiac Activity” for students of 101-105 medical-pedagogical faculty. The lecture was given by the senior teacher of the department “Informatics and Biophysics” U.M. Abdujabborova, the professor of the department “Medical and Biological Chemistry” F.Kh.Inovatova,associate professor of the Department of “Normal and Pathological Physiology” S.Z. Saidalikhojaeva. The lecture covered such topics as energy metabolism in the heart muscle, cardiomyocyte functions, physiology and methods for determining blood pressure, methods for studying the cardiovascular system, the mechanism of blood movement through the vessels, the work and power of the heart, atherosclerosis in terms of biophysics, physiology and biochemistry. The presentation used relevant texts, drawings, diagrams and animations. A film about coronary stenting was shown.
At the end of the open integrated lecture, questions were asked from students and full answers were received on them. The lecture was interesting and informative.
